Carbohydrate Metabolism, Point #1: To understand the connection between carbohydrates and negative health effects in our body, we have to discuss the topic of deuterium.

Some of you may be familiar with deuterium, few people in the alternative health world have been talking about this. More and more people need to learn about deuterium because when deuterium enters the wrong places of your body, this is one of the molecules that can make or break your health. There are certain places in your body that deuterium belongs in like your plasma. However, there are also some places that are disruptive and highly inflammatory for deuterium such as your mitochondria.

Deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen, both hydrogen and deuterium have the same number of protons. Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table, so it has 1. Deuterium has 1 neutron, whereas hydrogen doesn’t have any neutrons. You may be wondering why this is so important, this breaks down to deuterium weighing more than hydrogen. This may not seem like a big weight difference but it’s huge at the anatomical and mitochondria levels. For anyone concerned with health and struggling with weight, autoimmunity, cancer, or poor energy levels, keep listening because your ability to process deuterium and deplete it from your cells weighs heavily on your current state of health. I’m going to ask you a question, how many diet books or plans have you read that teach you how deuterium impacts your health when it gets into your mitochondria? I’ll guess very little or none. I haven’t seen any books on this topic yet, but I sense they are coming. Until we address this topic of deuterium and how to remove it or deplete it from our cells, people will continue crashing and burning when it comes to trying to achieve their health goals.

Carbohydrate Metabolism, Point #2: One of the main ways that deuterium is depleted from your mitochondria is from sunlight exposure and practicing the Sunlight Rx.

Here’s the thing about deuterium and carbohydrate metabolism with your health, remember deuterium is heavier than hydrogen. Deuterium is not supposed to be in your mitochondria when it is, it's like adding maple syrup to your gas tank. Your body has built-in mechanisms to deplete from your cells, and one of the main ways deuterium is depleted from your mitochondria and cells is by UV light, sunlight exposure. Practicing the Sunlight Rx for improved carbohydrate metabolism because nature created these foods. If we weren’t supposed to eat these foods, they wouldn’t have been created. These foods are here for us to eat, however, we have to be in the right environment to process and deuterium deplete these foods. 

That’s why if you go to the grocery store in the middle of January after being told by your doctor to have a banana a day meanwhile you live in upstate New York, the banana is not going to do any benefit for you. It’s not going to positively impact your potassium levels and blood pressure, it will do the opposite. Doctors don't know this and they just recommend eating this food without having detailed knowledge behind the effects of the light environment. Another example would be nursing homes. They have people inside all day on a diet of canned soups, instant oatmeal, and bananas. They are essentially eating deuterium the entire day and that’s why they have no energy. It’s like maple syrup going across their mitochondria until eventually, you cannot live on that diet.

Utilizing Healthy Carbohydrates, Point #3: We look to diet to rectify metabolic disorders, however, diet is a band-aid approach to rectifying these issues.

So what’s the key here to eating these foods that contain deuterium without them having a negative impact on your energy levels and mitochondria health? You may be sitting at your kitchen table in the wintertime eating your banana thinking it’s beneficial to your health, but you’re just adding a ton of deuterium to your system. We need to consider the environment where deuterium rich foods are grown in. All food contains and carries a light blueprint, we learned that photosynthesis is how all foods grow right? Deuterium rich foods are grown in very strong UV light, such as tropical foods like mangos, papaya, and watermelon.

When is the time to eat these foods? The answer, when there is strong UV light outside of your door from sunlight. For example, If you're in upstate New York in January, there is zero UV light present at that time, so your body has no way to deuterium deplete that from your cells. But the real issue lies in people who do live in strong UV light environments but simply just don’t go outside. They’re inside on their phone, computer, or streaming Netflix. With convenience, we are programmed to indoor life. Artificial light increases our carbohydrate cravings and endocrine hormones. Think about if you eat a high carbohydrate diet, or even moderate, you think they are healthy carbs, but you are never going outside in UV light so your body is just having inflammation levels building. Your ability to process and metabolize carbohydrates keeps declining.

Carbohydrate Metabolism Point #4: Every pain and symptom is expressing itself for a reason. And one of those reasons is to help you address that specific layer of health so you don’t push the pathogen deeper into your body.

If you’re nervous about deuterium depletion and what it may bring up for your physical body, remember that western medicine is based on suppression. Drugs, treatment method and the approach is 100% suppression based. It cannot cure any disease, if we want to heal our deepest parts, remember pathology gets pushed down into layers of your body, it can go from a pathogen on the surface layer and over time gets pushed down into deeper parts of your body. To fully recover, the pathology has to make its way back to the surface so it can be removed from the body. 

This is the opposite of suppression and the foundation of homeopathic care. I invite you to keep this in mind when we are faced with discomfort or pain. Usually, we want the discomfort to go away ASAP. We want to get back to our lives, but every pain and every symptom is expressing itself for a reason, and that reason is to help you address that layer of health so you don’t keep pushing the issues deeper into your body. For example, strep throat or ear infections, you get these oftentimes as a kid. What happens? You get put on antibiotics, that’s the remedy we are taught. Let’s say you don’t have strep anymore, you feel better. It doesn’t mean the antibiotics worked. It means they pushed the pathogen down to a deeper layer, it did its job of suppression. 

The Bottom Line of Carbohydrate Metabolism and Understanding Its Role in Your Health

If you want to expedite your deuterium depletion process which will allow you to process carbohydrates better, I suggest you get your body and skin as naked as a baby in sunlight. Sunlight is queen when it comes to so many things around your health, including improving carbohydrate metabolism and depleting deuterium from your cells.
